| Early in its existence we at Galanis Sports Data
realized that all the statistical information that was collected
could become a valuable tool for the Sports Community with a
systematical and detailed analysis. That is why for years now we
have worked together with many Coaches so that we may help them in
their difficult task of preparing their teams for the marathon
they have to go thru every season. During the course of these years we have assisted the National
team Coaches of all major Sports in Greece and of all age groups.
We also have worked closely together with most of the Division A1
Coaches in Football, Basketball and Volleyball so that we may
learn from their experience and they can learn from our methodical
statistical analysis. Recently we have developed a series of
specialized statistical data analysis according to the specific
needs of various coaches and which we distribute to those who have
requested so.
In the international scene and specifically in Basketball we have
created the “Galanis Scouting Report” which since 1996 has been a
valuable tool for NBA teams as well as some major European teams.
This report, which since 1999 is on the Internet
www.galanissportsdata.com/scouting, is a concise guide of Greek
Basketball where anybody can retrieve all available information
and statistical data available for all athletes playing in Greece.
